£106,500 of leads in four weeks.
JG Floors Ltd became Guild Floors. A new name, a new brand, a new website, and SEO, AI search and social every month. Six days after launch, the first website enquiry came from ChatGPT.
We helped JG Floors rename,
rebrand and grow.
James has laid floors for 18 years. The old name and logo didn't show it. The new ones look like the work.
The old website opened with "We guarantee to offer you a service like no other!" and its review box said 0 reviews. The new name comes from the old craft guilds: proof the work was done by someone who earned the right to do it.
Good floors. A brand that didn't say so.
Guild Floors is a family-run flooring contractor in Bishop's Stortford, run by James Gillett. They fit floors in homes and commercial buildings across Hertfordshire, Essex, London and the South East, and James has 18 years in the trade.
He came to us through a mutual friend on Facebook. On our first call, on 22 July, the gap was clear. The work was strong, but the brand was a serif "JG FLOORS LTD" logo with blue rules and a grey van with blue script. The website said they would offer "a service like no other" and showed a review count of zero.
In James's words, he wanted help to rebrand the business and grow into a larger customer base. So the brief was three things: a brand that looks like the quality of the work, a website that wins homes and commercial jobs, and a steady flow of people finding Guild on Google, in AI answers and on social.
A name that says
the work is earned.
The old guilds were the mark of the craftsman. Belonging to one was proof the work was done by someone who had earned the right to do it. That is James's business, so Tommy Mercer, our Co-founder & Creative Director, built the brand around it. The tagline says the rest: Judged by Quality, Grounded in Excellence.

Where a flooring firm's brand gets seen most: on the van outside the job, and on the team doing it.
Brand first. Then the site.
Then the work every month.
From the first call to the first ChatGPT enquiry took eight weeks.

Tommy took the name back to what it means. The old guilds were the mark of the craftsman, so the brand needed to look earned, not loud. Professional not playful.

"Nothing was too much trouble."
"We wanted help to rebrand the business and grow into a larger customer base, Sort The Clicks were very thorough throughout from design to tweaks, nothing was too much trouble, they built a new website, social media platforms and all linked with automated posts whilst also carrying out SEO. Working with them has been so easy and they are very attentive in making sure everything is how you want it, I will definitely be using them in the future."
