Fifteen years.
Four chapters.
The story starts on a market stall at thirteen. It runs through a national retail platform, two years on the road selling face to face, and lands at the kind of digital partner I wish I'd had when I was running my own business.

Age 13
A market stall.
I started selling on a market stall at 13. Before I could drive, I understood margins, stock, and what people actually want to spend money on. That's where it started — not in a marketing degree, not on LinkedIn, but standing behind a folding table watching real people decide whether to part with real cash.

Door to door
Two years on the road.
I spent two years walking into hundreds of independent businesses across the South of England, selling face to face. Cafés, salons, gyms, boutiques, gift shops. I learned more about how small businesses actually work in those two years than most digital consultants learn in a career.
I learned what owners actually worry about. I learned which marketing pitches make them roll their eyes. And I learned that the gap between "good digital advice" and "advice that fits a small business" is enormous.

Co-founder
A national retail platform.
I co-founded a platform with 800+ independent businesses, £1m+ annual revenues, and 30+ appearances in national media. I built the brand, briefed the tech, ran the marketing, and onboarded every single retailer personally.
By the end of nine years I'd run launches, written press releases that landed in the broadsheets, sat across from procurement teams at major retailers, and shipped a lot of digital — some of it good, some of it expensive lessons.

Today
Sort The Clicks.
I know what good digital looks like because I've built it at scale. I know what a wasted budget looks like because I've spent one. And I know what it feels like to be the business owner on the other side of this conversation — because I've been that person too.
Sort The Clicks is the agency I wish had existed when I was scaling that platform. One person, accountable. No portal, no account manager, no jargon. See what we do →
